Moving into storage with a removal company

• Book your container first. Choose your size and move in date online so you know exactly what space you have before the removal company arrives.
• Give them our address. Jennings Containers & Storage, Tower Estate, Warpsgrove Lane, Chalgrove, Oxfordshire OX44 7XZ.
• Drive up access. The removal van can park right next to your container and unload straight in. No corridors, lifts or trolleys.
• Plan around our hours. The site is open for access from 6am to 9pm, seven days a week. Our team is on site Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5pm and Friday 8:30am to 2:30pm if you need a hand on the day.
• Tell us who is loading. If someone else will be loading your container for you, speak to us before move day so we can make sure access goes smoothly.
• Pallets and heavy items. Our forklift service can load and unload pallets on Wednesdays. Charges apply, so please book in advance.

Tips for a smooth move day

• Measure large furniture such as sofas, wardrobes and beds, and check our size guide so everything fits.
• Take beds and tables apart where you can, and keep the screws and fixings together in a labelled bag.
• Use strong boxes of the same size so they stack safely, with heavy items at the bottom.
• Label each box with what is inside and which room it is going to.
• Put the things you will need first near the door of the container.
• Cover furniture and mattresses to keep them clean while in storage.
• Bring your padlock, or hire a high security padlock from us.
• Make a list of what you are storing and its value. You will need the total value when you book, for StoreProtect.
